To create a just and thriving Alaska for future generations, we must take steps toward a new future – we can do that on Election Day. We are working to build up a diversified economy, one no longer dependent on extractive practices. As we transition to this future, we believe that companies reliant on our Alaskan resources have an essential role to play in sharing their profits. Because of this, The Alaska Center has endorsed The Fair Share Initiative! This is a ballot measure that requires oil companies to pay their fair share for the resources they extract. Vote yes on 1 in November to move Alaska towards an equitable future for all.
