“I am a life- long Alaskan who absolutely loves Alaska. It is apparent that in just the last six years Senate Bill 21 has given oil companies massive tax breaks, which as a result has affected all areas of Alaska’s economy. The loss in revenue from these tax breaks for Big Oil has gutted the budgets of public schools, the university system, the marine highway, health care, community assistance programs, senior programs and public safety. As a result of these slashed budgets communities are left with few options other than raising property or sales taxes. This is unacceptable to all Alaskans. This is our time to vote “Yes” on 1! Vote for an increase in Alaska’s Fair Share of production revenues. Our future generations will thank you for taking this proactive stance on planning for Alaska’s future. “
